On the 2nd Sunday of each month, our worship service is a participatory blend of Scriptures, songs, and saints wrapped around a theme, as we seek to always remain focused on Jesus, to the glory of God, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our worship team will lead us in singing songs of worship and praise to the Lord. And everybody who so desires gets to play by reading Scriptures or quotes from saints (from the Greek word “hagios,” meaning “holy” or “set apart” and referring to all believers in Christ). As in all of our Sunday worship services, we will celebrate Communion (the Lord’s Supper) together. Ordinarily we remain where we are seated to receive Communion elements. On 2nd Sundays we participate in a more embodied way by going to the front of the sanctuary and dipping bread (“The body of Christ given for you”) into a common cup (“The blood of Christ shed for you”).
