The Spirit opens our imagination to participate in God’s Kingdom transformation

Everybody Gets to Play #16

Liberty Fam,

Together. I hope you are not tired of hearing that word. 😊 It has been a great last two months journeying through the different topics of interdependence/together. If you have a testimony or challenge on something God has been speaking, can you respond here and let me know? I would love to hear how God has been working and also remind us all as a family how God has been moving by His Spirit.

Our final topic (shared on Sunday)  was on “Together in Transformation” from Luke 18:35-43 and Acts 2 where we looked at divine healing/transformation and disability. When we understand that the Spirit has empowered and enabled the senses it opens up our imagination for God’s work, even when there may be a lack of one sense or the other, to participate in God’s Kingdom transformation. Truly we all get to play. The upside down nature of God’s Kingdom does cool stuff – we have so many stories of this at Liberty!

Next week we will be starting a six week series that we are calling “Psalms of Thanksgiving”. We will be going through six different Psalms leading us into November. Despite the ups and downs of life, there is so much where we can be thankful.

Please chime in with how God has met you and is leading you through this “Together” series. I am so thankful for each of you and it is a joy to walk together.

John
