This month we’re walking the Settles Bridge Park Extended Loop Trail. It’s a 2.4 mile moderate, mostly unpaved trail, part of which is beside the Chattahoochee River. Some of it is “out of the way” – when we scoped this out, we needed GPS at times to stay on the trail and had to climb over about 10 logs, so this is only for adventurous hikers 🙂 There is a very short (.44 mile) paved trail at the very end, which is fairly steep, in case anyone is thinking about bringing wheels (which are only permitted on the paved section). This beautiful park also has playgrounds, restrooms, skate park, and tennis courts. All ages are welcome!
