2016 outreach stories

January 2016:
We served at Lilburn Co-op by sorting out donations of clothing and food to be distributed to needy individuals and families in our community, while strengthening relationships with one another (as always happens when we go on mission together!) You can check out the Lilburn Co-op website to see some donation ideas in preparation for our next outreach there!

February 2016:
We showed the love of Jesus to people in our community who were passing by, as we gave away a lot of beautiful Valentine roses!

March 2016:
We held a food drive to collect food and household items to be distributed to local families in need via the Lilburn Co-oplilburn-coop-logo
We did our 7th adopt-a-road cleanup!

April 2016:
We prayed for and wrote cards of encouragement to

vineyard iwata

, which is located close to the devastating earthquakes earlier this month in Japan, in order to encourage them as they serve those in the affected area.

May 2016
We baked “tasty treats for teachers” and took them over to the teachers at Lilburn Middle School, to encourage and thank them for investing in students all year.

June 2016
We did our 8th quarterly adopt-a-road cleanup on Harbins Rd, Lilburn.

July 2016:

August 2016:
We put together 50 bags of school supplies for students at Lilburn Middle School, in order to help them get the best start possible for their school year. We prayed with teachers and staff when we delivered the supplies.

September 2016:
We did our 9th quarterly adopt-a-road cleanup on Harbins Rd, Lilburn.

October 2016:
We collected food for the Lilburn Co-op and donated a carload of nonperishable items to help needy famililes in our community.

November 2016:
We put together many shoe boxes of Christmas gifts through Operation Christmas Child to send to children in need around the world.

December 2016:
We did our 10th quarterly adopt-a-road cleanup on Harbins Rd, Lilburn.
